The Great Shivaji Half Marathon was Indian Sports Revolution's first big event sponsored by Hon. Mr. Pramod Nimhan. This event was held on 25th may 2014 in Pune.

About 2500 participants from across the country participated in the event. The event started early morning at 06:00 AM. Major categories were 10 Km and 21 Km.

The marathon was flagged off at Shambhaji statue, Deccan.

10 Km finish was set at Bavdhan!

And 21 Km finish was set at Shivaji Statue, Balewadi Sports Complex! 

 

With over 250 volunteers, the route was marked perfectly. Water and Energy Drink  stations were placed every 02 Km, along with Fruit, Snack.

Transportation back to the start (Deccan) was arranged.

The event had media coverage and was also covered by official photographers and videographers at all points
 

The Great Shivaji Half marathon was a timed marathon and was officially registered MAHARASHTRA AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (MAAA) marathon and a SCMM qualifier.

 

Participants who ran for 10 Km and 21 Km were provided with a timing chip. Accurate finish time was specified on the participants certificate.

All finishers were given a finisher medal and finishing Certificate.

Prizes worth Rs.10 lacs were distributed amongst the winners of all categories!!
